Used monistat,my yeast incection seemed to go away and then came back.?

So last week i started having l itching,a little bit of white discharge and no bad smell.also discomfort and some burning. i looked it up and it said yeast infection.i dont have insurance so i tried the 1 day monistat.i took it on a friday night and that next thursday night the symptoms reappeared.not sure what to do.
