I was accused of "facebook stalking?"?

Yeah there's this czech exchange student at my school and I thought sweet a new girl that maybe would like me, so I added her as a friend on facebook. No big deal right? Well, I started talking to her on facebook because i had no cles with her. I talked to her maybe 5 or 6 times on facebook. She seemed to like me and everything and thought I was funny, but today, my friend said "hey can i talk to you for a second." I though nothing of it. He continued "Meagan was just telling me that you have been facebook stalking the exchange student. (Meagan is her host family person)" I asked what that is. "Talking on facebook only but not in real life. Have you?" and then he said that he just wanted to help me out. Am I really in the wrong here? What do you guys think about this? (Also my friend is not trying to get me out of the way to get her for himself; he has a girlfriend). After this I just thought **** i won't have a chance with any girl in my grade with the label "facebook stalker." thoughts please
