How to start a ford bronco?

ignition went and when i took it in it needed a new steering column a the only one ive been able to find is 200 and thats too much for a 89 bronco. its the xlt with automatic transmission and351. so is there anyway to make it start besides going under the hood. just looking for a way to drive it until i find a cheaper column.
