My hair is too thick!?

my hair is thick and i hate it. i have blonde medium length hair and when i go to the hairdressers i always ask for it to be thinened but it just goes thick again straight away! how can i stop it from going thick so quickly? oh yeah and i dnt want ne1 saying its better to have thick hair thanks Rosie x
