Will Chinese really replace English as the world's dominant language?

I mean honestly, Chinese is such a hard language to learn. English is so much easier and adaptable. Are people really expecting everyone to start dropping English for something as difficult as Chinese. I heard the people in China are even learning English. And even though more native people speak Chinese, English has a wider geographic distribution. So will Chinese replace English?
