Should i do ThaiBoxing????????????

i want to take up a fighting sport, theres no mma clubs in my area so bad luck for me. But then i started looking into kickboxing and theres a club 10 minuites away from mine so i'm going to go check it out. but right next to that theirs a k-star Thai boxing club, i don't know much about thai boxing but is it like punches, kicks and kneeing????
